The Lone Ranger on The Red Skelton Show
This newspaper tv guide advertises The Lone Ranger appearing
on The Red Skelton Show at 8:30 p.m. (Central) on
Tuesday, December 6, 1955.
I haven't found a video of this Red Skelton episode but if any of you who have, please let
me know. One web site refers to this as the "Deadeye vs The Lone Ranger" episode. A
photo of Clayton was in the ad but did Clayton appear?
This advertisement for The Red Skelton Show came from the
New York Times on Tuesday, December 6, 1955. There is no
mention of The Lone Ranger and it instead says that Bill Williams
(Kit Carson on TV) was a guest. Notice that this episode was in color.
This synopsis for The Red Skelton Show came from the
TV Guide magazine for December 3 - 9, 1955 on page A-52.
The synopsis also said this episode of Red Skelton, with Clayton
Moore as the special guest, was scheduled for Tuesday, Decmeber 6th.
